The Kingdom Hearts series games were released on Steam. The best online activity is seen with the collection of the first two parts

On June 13, Square Enix released the Kingdom Hearts series games on Steam. Previously, their PC versions were available exclusively on the Epic Games Store. However, the launch was most active for the collection with the first few games.

Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX

The online performance of Kingdom Hearts on Steam on release day:

  • the Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX collection, which includes the first two Kingdom Hearts games and four spin-offs, had 6,809 players;
  • the collection featuring Kingdom Hearts III and the Re Mind DLC had 817 players;
  • the Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue collection, which includes three games leading up to Kingdom Hearts III, had 186 players.

All three collections have received positive ratings. Most players are simply happy that Kingdom Hearts has arrived on Steam. However, there has been some criticism, particularly about crashes and performance issues.
