Hellblade 2 debuts at #15 on Steam charts, Helldivers 2 drops out of top 10 for first time since launch

Last week, no game could dethrone Counter-Strike 2 from the top spot on the Steam charts. Here’s how other titles, including Hellblade II, performed.

The top 3 highest-grossing products on Steam for the week of May 21-28 were all from Valve: Counter-Strike, Dota 2 (up 3 positions), and Steam Deck.

Ghost of Tsushima lost two places, but remained in the top 5. When looking at other premium titles, the top 10 was full of older AAA games such as Elden Ring (plus pre-orders for the upcoming Shadow of Erdtree expansion), Cyberpunk 2077, and Baldur’s Gate 3.

Interestingly, Helldivers 2 remained in the top 10 among premium titles, but landed at #13 overall. This marks the first time since its February 8 launch that Arrowhead’s co-op shooter hasn’t cracked the top 10 products by gross revenue.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II debuted at #15 overall (#9 when only looking at premium games). It received generally positive reviews from players, but peaked at less than 4,000 concurrent players on Steam.

Below are the top 10 premium games by gross revenue for the week of May 21-28 (excluding F2P titles and Steam Deck):

  1. Ghost of Tsushima
  2. Elden Ring
  3. Cyberpunk 2077
  4. Total War: Warhammer III
  5. Baldur’s Gate 3
  6. Ready or Not
  7. Helldivers 2
  8. Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree
  9. Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II
  10. Planet Coaster

VOID Interactive’s tactical shooter Ready or Not jumped 88 places to #12 overall. The game is currently 40% off, which is its biggest post-launch discount.

Thanks to a 95% discount, theme park sim Planet Coaster not only returned to the top 10 highest-grossing games on Steam, but landed at 16th place overall. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader also returned to the charts at #40 (thanks to a 30% discount), while Street Fighter 6 rose 59 positions to #17 (thanks to a huge patch/balance update and the new character Akuma).
