WN Academy has announced a course on b2b sales. The course is taught by Yulia Lebedeva

In April, as part of the WN Academy educational project, a course dedicated to business sales in the gaming industry is being launched. The course is taught by Yulia Lebedeva, COO and partner of WN Media Group.

About the course

The program focuses on the development of practical skills, the course is "tailored" for the gaming industry. It will be useful for both novice sales managers and business partners, as well as those who already have work experience — the course will help structure knowledge and open new growth points.

Class format:

  • six weeks of interactive online classes;
  • face-to-face session in Istanbul at the WN Summer Conference;
  • the bonus module.

Homework is provided. In addition, each participant of the intensive course will receive a ticket to a gaming business conference in June with the opportunity to test-drive their knowledge in real conditions.


The following topics are announced:

  • the specifics of sales in the gaming industry, the difference between sales and bizdev;
  • techniques and techniques to increase the understanding of the interlocutor;
  • the art of conducting successful negotiations, in person and online;
  • sales technologies and tools, including AI-based programs;
  • lead generation;
  • an increase in the percentage of closing deals.

Professional "pumping" in at least one direction will allow each student of the course to increase their personal sales.


Two permanent course presenters and three guests have been announced, all directly from the gaming industry, with extensive communication experience and a career in business development and sales.

  • Yulia Lebedeva has been in the gaming industry for 15 years, served as Director of business development at Nevosoft, and then was responsible for sales at a fintech startup. As the executive director of WN Media Group, Yulia also heads the company's sales department and is responsible for key partners. During her career, Yulia Lebedeva has trained more than two dozen sales managers.
  • Marty Kaplan is an industry veteran with 28 years of experience. Now he is engaged in his startup, previously he was the director of business development at the Amber outsourcing studio. Prior to that, he was a producer at Zynga, Playstudious, Electronic Arts, Sega, Pixar and other companies.
  • Jean-Francois Tremblay has been in game dev sales for more than 26 years, Director of business development for a server company i3d.net , originally from Canada. He has a track record of working at Sarbakan, Frima Studios, LVL Studio, Nutaku, Edgegap and others.
  • Elena Sidorova has been in the industry for nine years, Sales Director at WN Media Group. She has conducted some of the largest transactions during her time at the company. The total valuation of the contracts concluded by her has crossed the million dollar mark.
  • Gustav Pastucha is a producer of the Pixel Federation R&D division. Prior to that, he was engaged in operating and business development in the fintech sector for eight years, including at Etops AG and Nectar Financial.

All speakers will share cases from their own practice. Listeners will be able to ask questions and share the challenges they face.

Classes will be held in English.

Dates and prices

Classes are scheduled for two months. The first workshop will be held on April 17. The last one is in full—time format on June 11 at the WN Conference Istanbul’24.

The tuition fee starts from 2500 euros.

Free master class

On April 4, two weeks before the start of the course, a free master class will be held. Yulia Lebedeva and Evgeny Kitkin, founder of Lost Lore Games, will show you how to set up AI tools to facilitate the daily tasks of sales and business owners, including communicating with leads and filling out CRM.
