Elden Ring takes first two spots on Steam charts, plus successful launches of new indie games

To no surprise, Elden Ring has taken the Steam charts by storm. Let’s take a look at the top-selling titles on the platform over the past seven days.

Steam charts: Elden Ring takes first two spots, Chained Together debuts in top 10

Elden Ring and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion rose three and four positions respectively, becoming the highest-grossing products on Steam for the week of June 18-25. They outshined Counter-Strike 2, PUBG (#1 last week), and pre-orders for Black Myth: Wukong.

In addition to impressive sales, the DLC also reignited interest in the base game, whose player count increased to 781k CCU over the weekend. However, Shadow of the Erdtree still sits at “Mixed” reviews, with many players citing performance issues and increased difficulty among the main issues.

Chained Together, a new viral co-op platformer, debuted at #7 overall (#4 when only looking at premium titles). It also peaked at over 85k concurrent players yesterday, marking a strong launch for indie developer Anegar Games’ debut project.
