HitBox Games has raised $1.6 million to develop a blockchain sequel to Blade Bound
HitBox Games is an American studio that was launched last year by James Seaman, former vice president of Artifex Mundi. She received $1.6 million from investors, which she is going to spend on an MMORPG with the Swords of Blood blockchain.
The developers hope that they will be able to use Swords of Blood to “seamlessly connect” traditional games with blockchain titles.
Now there are eight people in the project team. Among them are Jakub Szamalek, the screenwriter of Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3, as well as John Moyer, the bassist of the metal band Disturbed.
