The author of the Dead or Alive fighting game series has opened a new studio. Will make games with NFT
Japanese game designer Tomonobu Itagaki will develop AAA-level blockchain games. He founded a studio called Apex Game Studios and has already announced the first project.
Itagaki’s new game will be Warrior — an MMORPG with NFT, created on the Unreal Engine. Not much is known about her yet, but judging by the description on her website, the game will have PvE and PvP elements, an opportunity to explore the world and a trading system. Warrior is scheduled for release in the first quarter of 2023.
The studio’s press release also states that Apex Game Studios is going to develop games for the metaverse. Whether Warrior refers to such projects is not explained.
