Epic Games: Can blockchain games succeed in EGS, it will become clear by the beginning of 2024
Epic Games Store (EGS) General Manager Steve Allison discussed the situation with blockchain games in the store with Axios journalists. In his opinion, it is too early to judge the success of such projects in EGS. The first conclusions can be made at the beginning of next year.
According to Ellison, there are only five blockchain games in EGS right now. At least two of them — Blankos Block Party and Core — have achieved “good” results. Another 20 titles are in development and will appear in the store later.
Ellison added that the EGS team will delete any blockchain game if it finds that it is cheating and violating the rules of the platform.
