As Android Central reports, Sony’s internal studios are currently working on only two new games for the PlayStation VR2 headset. Their release is unlikely to happen within the next year or two.
Sony did not comment on Android Central's report.
In March, Bloomberg sources reported that due to low demand, Sony paused the production of the PlayStation VR2 until the stock of VR headsets is cleared from warehouses. However, the company continues to develop the device. In early June, it announced that it will soon release an adapter for connecting the PlayStation VR2 to a PC, allowing VR headset owners to play games with SteamVR support.
