SCMP: Pico 4 VR headset has been pre-ordered over 10,000 times in two weeks in China

SCMP journalists suggest that such a demand for a VR headset is largely due to the fact that it is impossible to officially buy Quest 2* in China.

How things are with pre—orders in other countries is not reported. Pico 4 is scheduled for release on October 18.

Earlier, Chinese media reported that Pico, a subsidiary of ByteDance, sold 500,000 VR headsets in 2021.

*Belongs to the Meta company banned in the Russian Federation.
