Meta* launches Meta Accounts for VR Headsets
Owners of VR headsets from Meta* will soon be able to no longer use social media accounts to log in. Yesterday, the company officially announced that special Meta accounts will be available to users in the near future.
Meta* began to require Facebook accounts (banned in the Russian Federation) to work with VR headsets in 2020. This solution did not suit many users. Among other things, the company was criticized for insufficient protection of personal data.
