Bungie natives raised $3.5 million for their own VR startup

Former Bungie employees have raised $3.5 million to finance their own VR studio.

The money was received during the investment round A. The main share was contributed by the Chinese company UCCVR. Other investors include Vulcan Capital and Colopl.

The studio is called Polyarc. Plans to release VR games for a wide audience. It is known that the company’s first project will be a VR game under the working name Moss.

The startup was launched last year. The founders of the project are Tam Armstrong, Danny Bulla and Chris Alderson. All three had previously worked at Bungie and participated in the creation of Halo: Reach and Destiny. Bulla and Anderson worked as consultants with the creators of the Rift VR headset, Oculus.

At the moment, the Polyarc team has 6 people, including the creators of the project.
