Mobile publisher Marvel Puzzle Quest has rebranded
The Japanese publisher of budget games for PC and consoles D3 Publisher has announced a change in publishing policy and its own name in the United States.
The company D3Publisher of America, which you probably heard about earlier, if only in connection with the Puzzle Quest series from Infinite Interactive, recently announced that from now on it will not think about how many games it releases per year, but will focus on “games from the point of view of the player in”, on those things that make games fun.
However, as the company notes in an official press release, it began to pursue a new policy long before the announcement: the Marvel Puzzle Quest and Adventure Time Card Wars released as part of the new course are 2 and 3 years old, respectively.
Along with the official change of course, the company picked up a new name for itself – D3 Go! (the exclamation mark is part of the new brand).
Note that the rebranding only applies to D3Publisher of America, the American division of D3Publisher. “D3Publisher Inc., based in Japan, will remain the same,” said Peter Andrew, vice president of D3Publisher of America.
By the way, D3Publisher belongs to Namco Bandai.
