App Store: the total revenue of developers in 2014 amounted to $ 10 billion
The joint revenue of App Store developers for 2014 amounted to a record $10 billion, – reports Develop-online.
Thus, the total revenue of developers from sales of games and applications has reached $25 billion since the founding of the App Store in 2008.
App Store buyers, apparently, are not going to stop there: in the first week of January, they spent almost half a billion dollars on apps and IAP. The point, not least, is that the past New Year also turned out to be special: on this day, the largest number of sales and discounts in the entire history of the store was observed in the “apple” store.
In addition, over the past year, Apple donated $20 million to the AIDS Foundation during the RED campaign, and this is also a record amount. Since the moment the company took part in the initiative, a total of $100 million has been received from it.
