Google Play's quarterly earnings are 35 less than those of the App Store%
How much Apple and Google mobile app developers are paid per quarter and how fast these earnings are growing, said Jan Dawson, founder of the analytical company Jackdaw Research.
In order to find out, Jan, using open data, built a graph:
Quarterly payments to developers in the amount of $ million.
As you can see, Google pays developers about $1.5 billion per quarter, and Apple pays $1 billion more.
Google Play's quarterly earnings, in general, are 35% less than those of the App Store. Yang claims that in the next two to three years, Google Play will catch up with the App Store in terms of the amounts generated and, accordingly, payments to developers.
