The ruble in Google Play was untied from the dollar

On Google Play, Russian and Indian companies have the opportunity to set individual prices for their products for the largest 29 mobile markets in the original currency.

Today, the search company has informed Android developers about adding to the list of countries in whose markets it is possible to set individual prices for applications, including Russia and India.

This means the following:

Firstly, now companies from countries such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Holland, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States may pursue a special pricing policy in relation to Russia and India.

Secondly, the developers of Russia and India have the opportunity to pursue a similar policy with respect to all these countries.

Earlier, in these regions it was generally impossible to work with prices in a “private manner”. The American cost of a particular product was taken and converted into rubles or rupees at the current exchange rate.

Now, our and foreign developers have got their hands on an excellent tool for managing pricing policy in the developing mobile markets of Russia and India. From now on, the cost of the application, which is not tied to the US, can be significantly changed here, depending on the situation in these markets and the goals pursued by the authors of the program.

Yes, it is curious, but Brazil is not yet on the list of these countries, whose mobile application market is currently one of the most dynamically developing.
