Tripwire Presents broadens its publishing operations to assist smaller indie game developers

Tripwire Interactive, through its publishing arm Tripwire Presents, is extending its services to support small independent game developers.
The developer behind popular titles like Killing Floor and Maneater revealed a new initiative aimed at backing self-published indie projects at various stages of development, including pre-release, early access, and after-launch phases. The assistance provided will encompass areas like cross-promotion, platform interaction, business strategy, public relations, collaboration with content creators, and participation in events. Additionally, there will be support regarding pricing strategies, discount offerings, and lifecycle coordination.
The initiative is structured to be adaptable and favorable to developers, with the goal of expanding the audience for these games while maximizing benefits for the creators themselves. Details about the financial terms of the partnerships were not shared.
According to Bryan West, the publishing director at Tripwire Presents, the new program aims to help elevate outstanding self-published indie games that resonate with Tripwire's audience.
The initial set of games includes The Boss Gangster: Criminal Empire by BEF Games; Starforged Legacy, a roguelike bullet hell from Second Shift Games; Mars Attracts, a park management simulation by Outlier Games; One-Eyed Likho, a folk horror adventure from Morteshka; and Eslabong, a tactical strategy and mercenary club management game crafted by shirowita.
Earlier in March, Tripwire Interactive, the studio behind Killing Floor, underwent layoffs impacting 23 employees.
