For the first time in history, more than 700 games were released on Steam in a single week
Most of them turned out to be of little interest to anyone.
The statistics for new releases are as follows:
- A total of 720 projects were released from August 24 to 30;
- 530 games received fewer than 10 reviews;
- 62 titles received more than 100 reviews;
- only 10 products received more than 1,000 ratings.
This data was shared by Thomas Bidaux, CEO of ICO Partners. He also noted that he expected such a pace of releases to be reached a month later.
