According to data from SteamDB, even during extended access, 007 First Light became IO Interactive's second most popular game on Steam in terms of peak online activity, trailing only behind Hitman 2*. A few hours post-launch, 007 First Light solidified this position, with the number of concurrent players in the Steam version reaching 68,477.

Feedback on Steam for the new release is also positive. At the time of writing, it had garnered a "very positive" rating — 007 First Light received 5,000 reviews, with 91% of them being favorable.

Early players highly praised the captivating storyline and engaging gameplay of 007 First Light. Many noted that the developers succeeded in capturing the Bond spirit, considering that this Bond is still in his formative stages. However, the game is not without its flaws. Some gamers pointed out that the dynamics in 007 First Light slow down over time, and there are bugs, including critical ones.

Currently, 007 First Light is available on Steam, Epic Games Store, and consoles like PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series. It is set to release on Nintendo Switch 2 this summer.

*In December 2018, Hitman 2 was able to attract 361,000 concurrent players on Steam thanks to a free holiday event.
