Former StopGame authors have launched their own publishing house — Multifora Digital
A year and a half ago, former editor-in-chief of StopGame Dmitry Kungurov, together with a group of colleagues and creators of several popular YouTube channels, founded the creative studio RULER Productions. The studio assists developers with game trailers. Now, the team has decided to go even further and delve into the publishing business.
The founders of Multifora Digital describe their company as a “new generation publishing house.” They claim that, unlike traditional publishers, they will closely collaborate with studios, drawing on their previous experience to do so.
“We’ve been talking about games and reading comments for most of our lives, and we know what will excite gamers and where a game urgently needs improvements,” stated Multifora Digital.
Multifora Digital promises to fully engage with their partners' games. They believe that only in this way can one achieve worthy results nowadays. The company generally intends to provide developers with a wide range of services: from helping to find funding to marketing, working on game positioning, and creating various visual materials. They will also produce trailers.
Multifora Digital has already signed contracts to publish their first games but is not ready to announce them yet.
It's worth noting that in its year and a half of operation, RULER Productions has already been involved in quite a number of games. For instance, they worked on trailers for Welcome to Brightville, Tiny Bookshop, Agent of Strange, Void Train, and Static Dread, and also created cutscenes for the third installment of "Pathologic".
Tomorrow, on April 22nd, RULER Productions and Multifora Digital co-founder Dmitry Kungurov will speak at the “Gaming Industry” conference in Minsk, where he will share secrets on creating effective game trailers.
