At the time of writing this news, “Bylina” had received just under a hundred reviews on Steam, 77% of which were positive. For instance, many appreciated the Slavic charm, visual style, and humor in the game. However, there were some drawbacks, as gamers frequently complained about various technical issues.
As expected, most reviews for “Bylina” are written in Russian. According to Steam Scout, they account for 79.2%. Next are reviews in English (13.5%) and Simplified Chinese (4.2%).
The online presence of “Bylina” is still quite modest. At its peak on the Steam version of the game, only 302 people were online simultaneously, but this number might grow later.
To recap, “Bylina” is an action-adventure game inspired by Slavic fairy tales. In the game, players assume the role of a young warrior who ventures into the Faraway Kingdom, where he suddenly becomes possessed by a mysterious spirit. He now must make sense of what’s happening and challenge Koschei the Immortal.
Currently, “Bylina” is available only on PC, but by the end of the year, the game is also expected to be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series consoles.
