The publisher ARK is facing delisting from the exchange due to financial difficulties
Snail Games is a Chinese company primarily known outside China for the ARK series of games. It turns out, the company is not doing very well financially, and soon its shares might be delisted from the American stock exchange NASDAQ.

NASDAQ representatives notified Snail Games that the company no longer meets three critical exchange requirements:
1. Snail Games has shares that are too inexpensive—since fall 2025, their price hasn't even reached one dollar;
2. the company has a deficit in equity capital;
3. it doesn’t generate enough net profit—under NASDAQ rules, Snail Games should have achieved at least $500,000 in profit twice over the last three years, but failed to do so. The years 2023 and 2025 were particularly unprofitable for the ARK publisher.
The trend of Snail Games stock prices. Even at their peak, the price barely exceeded $3
Now, Snail Games needs to submit a plan to NASDAQ by May 11 to correct the situation. If the exchange approves it, the company will be given six months to get back on track.
As noted by GameLook, Snail Games’ financial difficulties are partially explained by its reliance on the success of ARK. By the end of 2025, the franchise generated 89.4% of the publisher's revenue—if ARK’s popularity declines, Snail Games immediately faces the consequences.
Currently, Studio Wildcard, affiliated with Snail Games, is working on ARK 2 featuring Vin Diesel, but the release is still far off. Last December, the developers announced yet another delay of the release—to 2028.
