The initial speakers announced for Develop:Brighton 2026 include representatives from Respawn, PlayStation Studios, and EA Full Circle
The first set of speakers for this year's Develop:Brighton event has been announced by Tandem Events, the conference organizer.
The 2026 conference will include sessions by notable companies such as Respawn Entertainment, PlayStation Studios, and EA's Full Circle studio.
On the Business track, Rikki Vitello from EA Full Circle will discuss collaborations with external development partners. Additionally, Mark Shaw of Flix Entertainment will provide insights on identifying the sunk cost fallacy in game projects. In recruitment, Liz Prince from Amiqus will explain hiring processes under the updated UK Employment Rights Act.
The Discoverability track includes a presentation from Najmah Salam of Panda Cat Games on managing a marketing content strategy effectively, paired with Happy Volcano's Jarvs Tasker, who will offer advice on enhancing your Steam page's visibility. Mike Gallagher from Untitled Ad Lab will discuss common pitfalls in PC game marketing post-launch.
In the Indie track, Michael Meaden of Athena Worlds will explore the balance between "big team process vs indie mindset." Alyx Jones from Silver Script Games will share the experience of creating and launching her passion project. Michael Rose of No More Robots and Vlambeer veteran Rami Ismail are also slated to speak, although further details are pending.
The Audio track includes Nick Laviers from Respawn Entertainment, who will draw on 30 years of experience in game audio. Ashton Mills and Andrew Dodds from Jagex will present on using visual techniques for creative sound design.
Martin Stig Andersen and Rob Bridgett from PlayStation Studios will also engage in a conversation with Rob Bridgett.
Develop:Brighton 2026 will occur from July 14 to 16.
