Top-Grossing Games of November in Numbers: The Month's Leaders in Revenue and Sales on Steam and Consoles
On PC, November was marked by Europa Universalis V and several other strategy and simulation games. However, Black Ops 7 performed poorly on Steam, and even on consoles, it did not achieve remarkable results for the series. All of this is covered in the latest edition of our monthly gaming market review, complete with data and charts.
Games discussed in this article:
- Revenue, sales, and other metrics of major releases on Steam: Europa Universalis V, Football Manager 26, Escape from Tarkov, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Where Winds Meet, Anno 117, and more;
- Data on the most successful indie releases of the month: Tavern Keeper, The Last Caretaker, Of Ash and Steel, and others;
- Console releases, their sales, and positions in the retail charts: Kirby Air Riders, Momotaro Dentetsu 2, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment, and more.
When evaluating sales, revenue, and other metrics, we traditionally relied not only on official data from developers and publishers but also on information from third-party sources. These include Steam charts, GfK (UK retail), and Famitsu (Japanese retail), as well as data from analytics firms like GameDiscoverCo, VG Insights, Gamalytic, and Alinea Analytics.
It should be noted that individually, the aforementioned services might provide errors. For example, VG Insights sometimes overestimates or underestimates revenue and sales figures, especially for new releases and indie games. Therefore, when compiling charts, we referenced data from various platforms, including averaged figures.
