Escape from Tarkov has gathered over 500,000 wishlists on Steam
This achievement was announced by Battlestate Games on social media.

Let us recall, the Steam page for Escape from Tarkov appeared relatively recently—in mid-September 2025. Thus, it took a month for the game to surpass the half-million mark in wishlists.
Due to such interest from the Steam audience, the extraction shooter ranked 73rd in the top most anticipated games on the platform. It is positioned between Marathon and Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War IV, surpassing projects like The Expanse: Osiris Reborn, PIONER, Nioh 3, and Atomic Heart 2.
Earlier, developers from Battlestate Games warned that they will not distribute Steam keys to gamers who purchased Escape from Tarkov on their website. To launch the game through Valve’s platform, they will need to buy a new copy. However, linking a Battlestate Games account to a Steam profile will still be possible.
The full release of Escape from Tarkov will take place on November 15, 2025.
