Megabonk and Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 have entered the top 10 on the Steam sales chart
Last week, the fall sale took place on Steam, resulting in a fresh chart where new releases stand alongside old hits. Here, we discuss the most notable changes in the rankings.
Megabonk
- With its impending release, Battlefield 6 became the best-selling paid game on Steam. The only title that earned more revenue from September 30 to October 7 was the free-to-play Counter-Strike 2.
- The Japanese role-playing game Digimon Story Time Stranger by Media.Vision and Bandai Namco debuted at the fourth position in the chart.
- Megabonk, an action-roguelike by indie developer vedinad, continued its ascent in the chart, securing the sixth spot this time. Notably, on Sunday, October 5, the game set a new personal record in online players on Steam, surpassing 117,000 users.
- The beta test of Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 propelled pre-orders to ninth place in the chart. The previous week, they were much lower, at 54th place.
- Amidst the fall sale, several older games significantly improved their chart positions: Cyberpunk 2077 (+six spots, landing in seventh place), Sons Of The Forest (+62 spots, 10th place), Baldur’s Gate 3 (+32 spots, 11th place), Red Dead Redemption 2 (+52 spots, 12th place), Ready or Not (+59 spots, 17th place), and many others.
