Hades 2 attracts more than 112,000 simultaneous players on Steam

During its launch weekend, Hades 2 attracted over 112,000 players simultaneously on Steam, surpassing its previous early access milestone.
Information from SteamDB reveals the sequel reached a peak of 112,947 concurrent players following its complete launch on September 25, 2025.
During the initial early access release in May, Hades 2 achieved a concurrent player count exceeding 103,000.
According to Gamesradar, this recent achievement doubles the peak attained by Hades, which saw 54,240 concurrent players when Hades 2 began early access.
Following Hades 2's full release, the original Hades game also experienced a surge in players on Steam, reaching 19,029 concurrent users.
Last week, Hades 2 was recognized as the top-rated PC game for 2025 by Metacritic, outranking titles such as Blue Prince, Hollow Knight: Silksong, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.
The game's current Metascore on PC is 95, with an overall rating of 94.
Alinea Analytics' estimates suggest that Hades 2 sold over two million copies on Steam during its early access phase, generating $50 million in revenue.
It is estimated that 1.5 million copies were sold within the initial two months of release.
Hades 2 became available as a timed exclusive for Nintendo Switch and Switch 2, with a physical edition released on November 20, 2025, as reported here.
