This Australian-based company is led by four co-founders: Zea Wolfe, known for her work with Massive Monster and Die Gute Fabrik; Jair McBain, associated with Land & Sea and Lune Interactive; Aaron Oak from Zero Dimension and Funselektor; and Jacob Vincent, also from Funselektor and Wymac Gaming Solutions.

Midnighters aims to leverage the team's extensive experience to better assist independent developers by helping them create games more sustainably.

The company offers a range of services including project and release management, marketing, public relations, business development, and community involvement.

They also propose a flexible publishing approach, offering either comprehensive support or minimal involvement, and can provide upfront funding in exchange for a smaller portion of royalties compared to standard publishers.

Wolfe commented, "The traditional publishing model isn't always suitable for indie developers. Our varied backgrounds in art, design, and engineering allow us to offer a personalized approach that aids developers in focusing on their strengths. We deeply understand the challenges they face," as reported by Game Developer.

Currently, Midnighters is collaborating with Alien Cat x Nomo Studio to support Momento, a game centered on room decoration.

The company welcomes project submissions from developers, who can apply via the application form available here.
