Dying Light: The Beast became the second game in the series in terms of online players on Steam
On the evening of September 18, the release of the zombie-action game Dying Light: The Beast took place. According to data from the SteamDB service, the peak online count for the Steam version of the game at launch reached 89,927 people.

In this regard, the new release almost doubled the player count of the first Dying Light, which peaked at 45,876 concurrent Steam users. However, it is still far from the record of Dying Light 2 Stay Human, which had a peak online count of 274,983 people on Steam.

At the time of writing, Dying Light: The Beast holds a "very positive" rating on Steam. In total, gamers have submitted 5,000 reviews, with 91% praising the game. Many were pleased with the storyline, updated combat system, and enhanced parkour. Some even regarded Dying Light: The Beast as a more suitable sequel than Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Nonetheless, there are complaints in the reviews about redundancy and bugs.
