Borderlands 4 has displaced Hollow Knight: Silksong from the top of the Steam sales chart
Hollow Knight: Silksong was unable to hold the top spot in Steam's best-selling games chart for long. As of the week ending September 9-16, it fell to fourth place, yielding its lead to another new release — Borderlands 4.

Hollow Knight: Silksong was also surpassed by Counter-Strike 2 (second place) and PUBG (third place) in the weekly revenue on the platform.
Rounding out the top five was the portable PC, Steam Deck.
The sixth spot was claimed by Marvel Rivals, which rose 13 places in the chart thanks to the launch of its fourth season. Additionally, significant position improvements were seen by Destiny 2 (↑39 spots to 11th place), pre-orders for Dying Light: The Beast (↑29 spots to 15th place), and THE FINALS (↑56 spots to 20th place).
The rogue-like Shape of Dreams debuted at 10th place. Other newcomers of note include Firefighting Simulator: Ignite (38th place), Road To Empress (46th place), Star Birds (52nd place), No, I’m not a Human (69th place), Keep Digging (89th place), and DRAGON BALL GEKISHIN SQUADRA (96th place).
