The developer behind Vampire Survivors has established a publishing company aimed at "sharing the luck" with other independent studios

Luca Galante, the mind behind Vampire Survivors and founder of Poncle, explained the creation of Poncle Presents as a way to support the indie gaming community. He discussed this initiative in an interview with GamesRadar. The new arm was formed to share insights gained during the development of Vampire Survivors with other independent developers.
Galante remarked, "We were fortunate with Vampire Survivors' success," stating that although there were initial missteps, valuable lessons were learned which Poncle now wishes to pass on to other indie creators. He described this initiative as a means of giving back and spreading their good fortune.
In September 2024, Poncle introduced its publishing entity, Poncle Presents, emphasizing its role not as a standard publisher but as a label or fund aimed at empowering developers to create their own unique projects. Galante expressed a critical stance towards certain publishers who exploit platforms for profit, often releasing incomplete games that never reach completion. He believes that publishing should focus on producing genuine, valuable games, acknowledging that not every project will be a major hit.
Poncle Presents commits to ongoing support for games after launch, focusing on fairness to all players, irrespective of a game's commercial success. To date, the publisher has released two budget-friendly indie titles: Kill the Brickman by Doonutsaur and Berserk or Die by Nao Games.
The aim is to collaborate with small teams known for transparency, with Galante viewing the publisher's duty as ensuring both developers and players are satisfied, stepping beyond mere business operations.
There are no current plans for a sequel to Vampire Survivors, yet a new venture was announced in 2023, with an animated series based on the popular game being approved.
