Pre-orders for EA Sports FC 26 and Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater have entered the latest Steam sales chart
The chart of the highest-grossing games on Steam for August 19-26 has been released. Below are the key changes compared to the previous week.
Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater
- Counter-Strike 2 reclaimed the top spot, pushing last week's leader, PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS, to second place.
- The free-to-play MahjongSoul, available only in China, shot up 91 places to fourth place, thanks to a major update.
- Pre-orders for EA Sports FC 26 (up 26 places) and Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater (up 76 places) showed a significant increase in sales, landing them in 10th and 11th places, respectively. It's worth mentioning that starting today, Metal Gear Solid Δ: Snake Eater is available for Deluxe Edition owners, with the full release scheduled for August 28.
- Forza Horizon 5 also significantly improved its chart position, climbing 86 places to 13th place, thanks to a recent 50% discount.
- A major patch and the buzz around the next installment helped Battlefield 2042 re-enter the chart, taking 14th place, while Battlefield 6 secured the ninth spot.
