Microsoft suggests the possibility of a "more affordable" option for Xbox Cloud Gaming

Microsoft is considering introducing a version of its Xbox Cloud Gaming service that would be easier on the wallet.
During an appearance on the Official Xbox Podcast, Microsoft gaming devices and ecosystem VP Jason Ronald, as reported by The Verge, expressed the company's desire to make this service more accessible to a broader audience.
"A significant number of players utilize Xbox Game Pass Ultimate for cloud access, whether it's their primary way to play, or a matter of convenience for gaming on the move," Ronald stated.
He continued, "This gives us a chance to offer a more budget-friendly option and widen its reach. This could involve expanding into new regions or providing alternate cloud access methods."
Ronald also touched upon Xbox's long-term alliance with AMD, initiated last month, that targets advancements in next-gen consoles, handhelds, PCs, and cloud capabilities.
"Our focus is heavily on hardware and silicon development, aiming to push beyond current technology limits," Ronald remarked as cited by PureXbox.
He elaborated, "With AMD, we're crafting custom silicon and hardware to elevate future gaming experiences, including substantial investments in next-gen rendering tech."
Ronald added: "We're channeling efforts into dedicated silicon to usher in advanced AI capabilities, which will revolutionize gameplay experiences, offering developers new opportunities to innovate."
