Nearly 5 million individuals have added Hollow Knight: Silksong to their wishlists on Steam
Anticipation is building for "Hollow Knight: Silksong," Team Cherry's upcoming title, as it tops Steam's 2025 wishlist charts with 4.8 million wishlists.

According to Alinea Analytics, the U.S. and China are leading the charge in wishlist numbers, comprising 20% and 15% respectively. Russia, Germany, Japan, and the U.K. are also prominent contributors, featuring in the top ten list.
Other highly anticipated titles include EA's Battlefield 6, which has garnered 2.8 million wishlists and 657,000 pre-sale orders. ARC Raiders follows closely with 2.5 million interested gamers.
Securing the fourth and fifth spots on the wishlist rankings are "Dying Light: The Beast" and "Borderlands 4," attracting 2.3 million and 1.8 million wishlists, respectively.
Rhys Elliott, an analyst, commented on Silksong's marketing approach, noting that its sparse updates have cultivated a sense of intrigue.
The analysis also sheds light on the impact of wishlists on sales, indicating that while not definitive, they are influential. On average, games launched with over 500,000 wishlists saw a conversion to purchases of 19% within a day, 26% after a week, and 32% by the end of a month.
Elliott further explained, "More wishlists usually correlate with improved conversion rates, while fewer wishlists typically see reduced conversions."
