It is likely that in the evening, as more Western players join, or over the weekend, the number will grow. However, Mecha BREAK already ranks in the top 20 most popular new titles of 2025 on Steam, surpassing games like Rematch, inZOI, and Sid Meier’s Civilization VII in online presence.
Nonetheless, during beta testing, the online presence of the Steam version of Mecha BREAK reached much higher figures. In February, 317,522 players were present simultaneously in the shooter.
It should be noted that many anticipated the release of Mecha BREAK. According to data from Alinea Analytics, by the end of June, the game had 2.8 million wishlists.
The initial players were not very satisfied with Mecha BREAK. Currently, it has only 59% positive ratings on Steam. Most of the reviews are written in Chinese (69.2%) and English (29%).
