Peak became the leader of the Steam chart among paid games
Rematch held onto the lead in the paid Steam chart for only a short while. For the week from June 24 to July 1, it was pushed from the top spot among premium games by the climbing simulator Peak (although in the top chart of all paid products, Peak secured second place—trailing behind the portable PC Steam Deck).
The overall ranking was traditionally led by the free-to-play hit Counter-Strike 2.
Thanks to the summer sale, Cyberpunk 2077 and Elden Ring made it into the top 5 of the overall chart. Compared to the previous week, they climbed 77 and 44 positions respectively.
Additionally, discounts helped improve the standings of Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (eighth place, ↑21 positions) and Baldur’s Gate 3 (12th place, ↑48 positions), as well as brought Red Dead Redemption 2 (13th place), Sons Of The Forest (14th place), Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 (30th place), Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 (31st place) and numerous other games back into the chart.
There were only two new entries in the chart this time — Persona5: The Phantom X (25th place) and Umamusume: Pretty Derby (73rd place).
