Support for Beat Saber is concluding on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5

Support for the VR rhythm title Beat Saber is coming to an end for PlayStation 4 and 5 users, with updates and multiplayer access being halted this month.

Beat Games, under the ownership of Meta since 2019, made the announcement through social media, stating their decision to cease updates for PS4 and PS5 from June 2025 as they focus on future developments for Beat Saber.

Despite this, the company's commitment to virtual reality remains strong, hinting at upcoming advancements they are eager to deliver to their loyal Beat Saber community.

While current DLC packs and the base game will remain purchasable on PS4 and PS5, any new content released after June 18, 2025, will not be available on those consoles.

Recent paid updates for Beat Saber have introduced tracks from renowned musicians such as Britney Spears and Lady Gaga.

Notably, Beat Saber holds a prominent position among the best-selling titles for PS VR 2, ranking as the third top-selling game in the US and Canada, and sixth in the EU as of May 2025.

The statement concluded by expressing the developer's anticipation for the future of Beat Saber.

Continuous support will be maintained for the game on other platforms such as Steam and Meta Quest headsets.
