MindsEye launched on Steam with "mixed" reviews and an online player count of 3,000 people
On June 10, the studio Build A Rocket Boy, founded by the former president of Rockstar North and the producer of the GTA series, released its debut game — the action game MindsEye. It received a lukewarm reception on Steam.

By the morning of June 11, the Steam version of MindsEye had garnered a "mixed" rating based on 779 reviews, with only 42% of them being positive. According to Steam Scout, most of the reviews were written in English (49%), Chinese (16.7%), and Portuguese (8.6%).
Many players describe MindsEye as an underdeveloped product. The game suffers from poor optimization and technical issues, and there are also concerns regarding the gameplay mechanics, such as the implementation of shooting.
The lack of major excitement around the game resulted in its Steam online presence barely reaching 3.3 thousand players. The status on other platforms is unknown.
