The updated Deltarune has surpassed Undertale by 12 times in online player count on Steam

Toby Fox, the creator of Undertale, and his team have finally added the third and fourth chapters to Deltarune, and subsequently released the game. Even though the RPG is now paid, it has generated significant excitement.

According to SteamDB, the peak online count for the Steam version of the updated Deltarune reached 133,930 people. This surpassed the free demo version of the game, which consisted of the first two chapters, by 31,000 people. As for Undertale, it lagged even further behind the new release in terms of online presence, with only 11,071 Steam users accessing it at its peak.

Deltarune's ratings on Steam are also excellent. The game received 8,000 reviews, with 98% being positive. This resulted in an "overwhelmingly positive" rating.

According to Steam Scout, 73.4% of Deltarune reviews are written in English. Russian reviews came in second (7.8%), followed by Spanish reviews (5%).

As a reminder, the first chapter of Deltarune was released nearly seven years ago, in October 2018, while the second chapter followed in September 2021. Fox is currently working on the next chapters, which will be added to the game as free updates.
