RuStore users spend nearly a quarter more on Russian games compared to foreign ones
In RuStore, the average spending on games from Russian developers in April was 750 rubles. For foreign games, it was significantly lower—about 550 rubles.

These figures were shared in a conversation with the newspaper "Izvestia" by RuStore's Development Director Ilya Ulyanov. According to him, Russian projects currently account for 60% of all game payments in the store.
Ulyanov added that compared to 2024, RuStore users have been spending money more frequently. Overall, the number of game transactions over the year almost doubled. This naturally led to increased revenues for developers, particularly noticeable among indie teams. In the first three months of 2025, independent developers earned four times more in RuStore than they did at the beginning of the previous year.
The genres of Russian games where RuStore users are spending the most money include action, shooters, and RPGs. Ulyanov did not provide a list of the most profitable genres among foreign games in the store.
