Activision has decided to withdraw Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile from the iOS and Android platforms. The company made this choice after evaluating the "scope of the game" and concluding that it did not meet their expectations.

The removal of the game from app stores occurred on May 18, leaving the game operational for those who had previously downloaded it. However, no new updates or content will be released, and the option to make real-money purchases is no longer available.

In a statement on their support page, Activision explained, "The decision was made after careful consideration. We're proud of bringing Call of Duty: Warzone to mobile in an authentic way, but [it] has not met our expectations with mobile-first players compared to PC and console audiences."

Those who still have the game on their devices will retain access to shared inventories and cross-progression features. The servers will stay active until further notice. Players can use any CoD points remaining for purchases within the mobile store, but buying items or CoD points with real money is not possible anymore.

Additionally, Activision confirmed that they will not issue refunds for in-game content purchased prior to the game's removal.
