DOOM: The Dark Ages was released on Steam with 30,000 players online and very positive reviews

The language distribution of reviews, according to Steam Scout, is as follows: 66.3% of the reviews are in English, 11.66% in Simplified Chinese, 7.1% in Russian, 2.1% in Spanish, and 1.9% in German.
The peak online count for DOOM: The Dark Ages on Steam reached 30,232 people. This is not the best result in the series. The DOOM that came out in 2016 was able to attract 44,271 players simultaneously, and DOOM Eternal had a peak of 104,891 players. However, it is worth noting that the new release is available right from the start through Game Pass, and a significant portion of players might have used this subscription. Additionally, the Steam online count for DOOM: The Dark Ages might increase in the evenings and on weekends.
