Destiny 2 returned to the top 3 of the Steam chart, while DOOM: The Dark Ages reached fifth place
The service SteamDB has published a fresh weekly chart of the highest-grossing products on Steam. As usual, Counter-Strike 2 occupied the first place in the ranking, but unexpectedly Destiny 2 surged to the second spot.
Destiny 2
In the past week, Destiny 2 climbed 83 positions in the chart. Most likely, the game managed to boost sales thanks to the start of two free events — Heavy Metal and Rite of the Nine. The latter also serves as a prologue to the upcoming expansion The Edge of Fate, which is set to be released in July.
Rounding out the top 3 was Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which continues to perform well on Steam.
The portable gaming PC Steam Deck remained in fourth place. Meanwhile, Schedule I dropped out of the top five, replaced by pre-orders for DOOM: The Dark Ages, which took the fifth spot this time.
Apex Legends secured the sixth spot, climbing 16 positions thanks to an update.
The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered fell to seventh place. Also noteworthy is the decline of the popular indie horror game R.E.P.O., which dropped from sixth to eleventh place over the week.
It is also worth noting the strong growth in pre-orders for Dune: Awakening. Last week, they were ranked 71st in the chart, but they have now risen to 13th place, thanks to a recent beta test.
Regarding new releases: Cash Cleaner Simulator debuted at 41st place, Revenge of the Savage Planet at 57th, Tower Dominion at 58th, The Midnight Walk at 84th, and Among Us 3D at 90th.
