Scopely is still the largest mobile publisher by IAP revenue in the West, but its games' revenue dropped by 48% in the first quarter

The analytical service AppMagic compiled a top-10 list of the largest mobile game publishers based on net IAP revenue in the main Western markets* for the first quarter of 2025. As it was a year ago, Scopely topped the list.

According to the service, Scopely's games earned $391 million in the specified region from January to March. The company's main hit remained MONOPOLY GO!, which alone brought in over $305 million.

Although Scopely achieved substantial revenue, it significantly decreased compared to the previous year, dropping by 48%.

Taking second place due to the success of the puzzles Royal Match and Royal Kingdom was Turkish Dream Games. Their games' net IAP revenue in the West for three months totaled $318 million, which is 39% more relative to the first quarter of 2024.

Rounding out the top three was King with $314 million.

Separately, AppMagic highlighted the achievements of Singapore's Funfly (publisher of Last War: Survival) and China's Diandian Interactive (publisher of Whiteout Survival). Both companies showed strong year-over-year revenue growth—increasing by 223% and 58% respectively.

4. Playrix — $293 million;
5. Funfly — $242 million;
6. Diandian Interactive — $186 million;
7. Moon Active — $184 million;
8. Roblox — $173 million;
9. Supercell — $165 million;
10. SuperPlay — $159 million.

*AppMagic includes six countries in the main Western markets: the USA, the UK, Canada, Germany, France, and Australia.
