Wuthering Waves launched on Steam with an online player count just below 11,000 people
On April 28th, the role-playing gacha game Wuthering Waves appeared on Steam. It reached Valve's store almost a year after its initial release, which took place in May 2024.

According to data from SteamDB, at the time of writing this news, the Steam version of Wuthering Waves managed to reach a peak of 10,888 concurrent players. This is quite a modest result for a free-to-play project, but it is quite likely that the number will increase later.
Trend of Wuthering Waves Online on Steam
At the same time, Wuthering Waves has good ratings on Steam. It currently has a "very positive" rating — the game was liked by 87% of the 1.6 thousand users who left reviews. According to Steam Scout, most reviews are written in English (62%), Spanish (7.4%), and Russian (6.7%).
Recall, Wuthering Waves is also available on PC through the Epic Games Store and its own launcher. Additionally, there are versions of the game for mobile devices and PlayStation 5 (the latter was released in January 2025).
In June 2024, developers from Kuro Games reported that Wuthering Waves had been downloaded over 30 million times on PC and smartphones. According to AppMagic, to date, the mobile version of the game alone earned a net $204.26 million from IAP, with most revenue coming from Japan ($60.4 million), China ($43.5 million), the USA ($29.6 million), and South Korea ($29.3 million).
