According to GameDiscoverCo, the main hit of March on Steam was Split Fiction. The co-op adventure by Hazelight Studios generated over $40 million on the platform by the end of the month. Carless added that Split Fiction is doing well on consoles too, but he did not disclose its earnings on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
Breathing down Split Fiction's neck is Schedule I. The indie phenomenon, which entered early access at the end of the month (March 25), managed to earn $35 million by the 31st.
Rounding out the top three is Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The new game from Ubisoft grossed nearly $34 million on Steam. According to Carless, this accounts for about a quarter of Assassin’s Creed Shadows’ total income across all platforms.
