On April 16, the "Gaming Industry" conference for game developers and publishers will take place in Minsk

In a month, the third session of the business conference "Gaming Industry" will take place. This time, it will be held in the capital of Belarus. The event is expected to host over 500 participants, including representatives from Yandex Games, Game Stream, Axlebolt, RuStore, VK Play Indie, HeroCraft, Astrum Entertainment, Semenov&Pevzner, and many other companies.

The event will take place in the conference halls of the modern five-star hotel "Peking," located in the heart of Minsk on the banks of the Svisloch River at 36 Krasnoarmeyskaya Street.

Traditionally, the event will feature three streams of presentations. The schedule is still being prepared (we will discuss it in a separate publication). For now, let's highlight some of the future speakers:

  • Evgeny Mirkin, editor of the gaming division at RuStore, will discuss the latest changes in the mobile game development market based on exclusive research of gamers' audiences in the CIS;
  • Alexander Egorov, head of VK Play Media and VK Play Indie, will discuss the indie developers market situation from the perspective of a distribution platform;
  • Anna Zvereva and Dmitry Potapov, artists at Axlebolt, will talk about how the company creates 3D characters;

Special guests of the conference will include Vitaliy Kazunov and Mikhail Shkredov, who head the gaming portal iXBT.games.

The "Gaming Industry" will feature an expo zone with sponsor booths, including Yandex Games and OpenMyGame, and an indie project exhibition. To secure your own space for showcasing a game, you need to submit an application, which can be done until April 13.

Important: Participation in the conference is free for indie developers and students. Developers need to apply for participation in the game projects exhibition to get a free ticket, while students should fill out the form here.

Ticket prices currently start at 250 euros. This is the price for a standard ticket without access to the party. A premium ticket will cost 350 euros. Prices will increase on April 2.

Those unable to attend in person can purchase an online ticket for 250 euros, which provides access to the meeting system, allowing you to communicate with all event guests.
