Counter-Strike 2 was the top-grossing product on Steam for the week of February 11-18. Moreover, the free-to-play shooter peaked at 1,744,015 concurrent players over the weekend, the highest since its re-release in 2023. The question is how long will take the game to break the 1.81 million CCU record set by CS:GO in May 2023.

Following its global launch on February 10, Civilization VII became the highest-grossing premium title on Steam last week. It still has mixed reviews (51% positive), with its peak CCU reaching 84,558 on February 15. This is still below Civilization VI, which attracted over 162k concurrent players at launch.

Monster Hunter Wilds continued to climb the charts ahead of its February 28 release, rounding out the top 3. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II dropped to 4th place overall (3rd among premium titles). Warhorse’s RPG continues to perform strong, having already sold over 2 million units globally.

Apex Legends saw a surge in gross revenue after the launch of Season 24 last week, moving up 22 positions to #5.

Avowed jumped 48 spots to #9 overall (#4 among premium titles). Obsidian’s new action RPG has already peaked at over 13k CCU during its Advanced Access period, with 81% of reviews being positive. The game is launching for everyone today, February 18, so it will be interesting to see how the numbers will change next week.
