Kingdom Come: Deliverance II and Civilization VII have strengthened their positions on the Steam chart

The highest-grossing game on Steam without discounts on monetization format last week was Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. From February 4 to February 11, the game by Daniel Vavra surpassed Counter-Strike 2 in revenue.

Let us recall, a week ago the game only formally topped the chart. Considering free-to-play products, it was in second place in sales. It managed to strengthen its position thanks to excellent word-of-mouth: judging by the reviews (90% of them positive), players are thrilled with the game by the Czech developers.

In third place overall and second place excluding free-to-play products, Sid Meier’s Civilization VII secured its position. Despite a lukewarm reception from the community (with only 52% positive reviews), the title saw an increase in sales and online presence (peaking at 61,000 concurrent players).

But when discussing the launch sales of the new "Civilization" installment, it's important to note that the game officially went on sale only today, February 11. Meanwhile, premium edition holders (there are two, priced at $100 and $130) could start playing the project a week before its global release. Considering the solid pre-release online presence, it's plausible that a significant portion of last week's sold copies were the premium editions.

Speaking of strengthening positions in the top, the growth in sales for Monster Hunter Wilds cannot go unnoticed. The game's launch is set for February 28, but amid an open beta test, it already ranks in Steam's top-5 for sales (third place excluding free-to-play, fourth including it).

Helldivers 2 returned to the top ten highest-grossing games on Steam after a long absence. The comeback is primarily due to the distribution of in-game gifts timed to the title's first anniversary — the game was released on February 8, 2024.

Destiny 2 also made it to the overall top-10. Here, LiveOps played a crucial role. A new episode, Heresy, was released for the game, featuring new activities, weapons, gear, several class changes, and a new location.

The top-10 highest-grossing premium products on Steam from February 4 to February 11 are:

1. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II
2. Sid Meier’s Civilization VII
3. Monster Hunter Wilds
4. Steam Deck
5. HELLDIVERS 2
6. Red Dead Redemption 2
7. Rust
8. NBA 2K25
9. Hogwarts Legacy
10. Path of Exile 2
