Steam has introduced a feature that alerts users when early access games have been discontinued
A new feature on Steam alerts users when early access games have not been updated in a significant period.
According to information from SteamDB, games in early access without recent updates will show a notice: "The last update made by the developer was over [X] months ago."
This message indicates that the data and timeline provided by the developers might be outdated.
This alert likely appears for games not updated in a year or more.
Although Valve hasn't issued a comment on this addition, it may be a response to the increasing number of early access titles.
In November, Valve revised its guidelines for season passes, adding new stipulations on release dates.
