Kingdom Come: Deliverance II has become the leader of the weekly chart for the highest-grossing premium games on Steam

Tonight marks the release of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II. Ahead of this event, the game's pre-orders have climbed to second place in the overall Steam sales chart for the past week — first if we exclude free-to-play titles.

The top spot for weekly revenue on the platform in the general chart once again went to Counter-Strike 2.

Shortly after Kingdom Come: Deliverance II pre-orders, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 appeared in the chart. Its PC release took place on January 30. The game from Insomniac Games displayed strong sales despite a mixed reception on Steam — at the time of writing, it has 61% positive reviews.

Sid Meier’s Civilization VII continued to strengthen its position in the chart, climbing from ninth to fourth place over the week. It is scheduled for release on February 11.

Another upcoming release, Monster Hunter Wilds, also improved its standing, rising six spots to ninth place.

As for other notable newcomers in the chart, Hello Kitty Island Adventure debuted at 12th place, Sniper Elite: Resistance at 31st, Foundation at 34th, and Orcs Must Die! Deathtrap at 52nd.

The Sims 4 entered the top 10 chart for the first time in a long time, likely due to the re-releases of the series' first two entries.
